Stranger Session Agreement & Participation Guidelines

Please review the following information carefully before booking your Stranger Session. By submitting payment and participating in the session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these guidelines.

Please note: These sessions will take place in the St Johns/Flagler/Volusia County Florida area. 

Finding Your Match

The goal of a Stranger Session is to introduce two people who may have things in common and create a fun, low-pressure photography experience.

Before making a match, I will consider the information you provide, including your age preferences, interests, lifestyle preferences, relationship goals, and dealbreakers. I will make a genuine effort to create a thoughtful match, but I cannot guarantee attraction, chemistry, compatibility, friendship, a romantic relationship, or a second date.

Part of the fun is meeting someone new and seeing what happens naturally.

Participant Screening & Personal Responsibility

Stranger Sessions are not a background-check or dating-screening service. Formal background checks are not performed on participants. When practical, I may review publicly available information, but this is not a comprehensive screening process and should never be considered a guarantee of someone’s character, history, or safety.

You are responsible for making your own decisions about whether you feel comfortable communicating with, meeting, or continuing a relationship with your match after the session.

If information comes to my attention that causes legitimate concerns about a participant’s safety or conduct, I reserve the right to cancel their participation or remove them from the program.

All participants must be aged 18+ and provide a headshot of themselves free of filters to be considered.

Tell Me What Matters to You

The more information you provide before your match is made, the better I can understand what you’re looking for.

Please be upfront about things that could affect your compatibility, including:

• Your preferred age range
• Smoking or drinking preferences
• Whether having or wanting children matters to you
• Whether you’re looking for something casual, serious, or simply open to meeting someone
• Your preferred distance or willingness to travel
• Lifestyle preferences
• Important values or interests
• Any absolute dealbreakers

I can only take your preferences into consideration if you communicate them to me before your match is arranged.

Choosing the Session Location

Your session location will be discussed and agreed upon before the appointment is finalized.

Once you approve the location and the session takes place, changing your mind about the setting afterward will not qualify you for a refund or complimentary reshoot. If you have concerns about the location, please bring them up before the session begins so we have an opportunity to address them.

Booking Fee & Attendance Deposit

Your session payment is required to reserve your Stranger Session.

 

This fee helps account for the time involved in coordinating matches, communicating with participants, arranging the session, and reserving a specific appointment time.

 

Cancellations & No-Shows

Please book only when you are reasonably certain you can attend.

A last-minute cancellation or no-show affects more than just the photographer. Your match has also committed their time and made plans around the session.

If an unexpected emergency occurs, please contact me as soon as possible.

Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or last-minute withdrawals may result in being unable to participate in future Stranger Sessions.

 

What Your Session Guarantees

Your payment covers the Stranger Session photography experience. It does not guarantee a romantic connection or a particular outcome between you and your match.

Once the session has been completed, payments are non-refundable and complimentary reshoots will not be provided because:

• You did not feel attracted to your match
• You did not feel a connection
• You decided you didn’t want to continue communicating
• Your match did not want to pursue another date
• You discovered a compatibility issue after meeting
• You realized something about your match was a personal dealbreaker
• The relationship or conversation ended after the session

The purpose of the experience is to create an opportunity to meet someone new and capture the experience through photography. What happens beyond that is ultimately up to the two participants.

Your Comfort Comes First

If you become uncomfortable at any point during the session, please let me know immediately.

You are never required to continue an interaction that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

I also reserve the right to immediately end a session if a participant is acting aggressively, disrespectfully, inappropriately, threateningly, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if I believe the situation has become unsafe for anyone involved.

No refund or reschedule is guaranteed when a session is ended because of a participant’s behavior.

After the Session

What happens after the photography session is completely your choice.

Exchanging phone numbers or social media information, communicating afterward, going on a date, sharing transportation, or meeting again are all voluntary decisions between the participants.

Please use the same common sense and personal safety practices you would use when meeting any new person for the first time.

 

 

The Experience

Stranger Sessions are designed to be fun, spontaneous, and different from a traditional photography session.

My role is to create a comfortable environment, photograph the experience, and make thoughtful introductions based on the information you provide. I can create the opportunity, but I cannot control the connection between two adults or what happens afterward.

Come with an open mind, be respectful, communicate honestly, and enjoy the experience.
