I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Maus family in Ormond Beach, Florida, for a session that began with beautiful family portraits and ended with a special senior portrait session.
The beach was the perfect setting to document this family together before shifting the focus to celebrate an exciting senior milestone.

We started the session with the Maus family together, capturing a variety of family portraits along the beautiful Ormond Beach shoreline.
Family photographs are about so much more than everyone simply smiling at the camera. I love creating a mix of traditional portraits and natural moments that show the relationships and personalities within a family.
We captured several different family groupings, giving the Maus family a variety of images to remember this season of their lives—from full-family portraits to smaller groupings and more candid moments along the beach.
From Family Photos to Senior Portraits
After spending time photographing the family together, we transitioned into the senior portion of the session.
This was such a fun way to document an important milestone while keeping the family included in the experience. Once we finished the family portraits, the focus shifted to celebrating this senior and everything that makes this stage of life so special.
The beach provided a beautiful backdrop for senior portraits, with the ocean, sand, and natural Florida scenery creating a timeless coastal look.
We captured a variety of portraits, from full-length beach images to closer portraits and more relaxed poses. The result was a senior gallery that felt personal, natural, and completely connected to the setting.
